AMLI Rino Monument Day Web

AMLI RiNo – Multifamily Signage

The River North neighborhood in Denver, Colorado is among the fastest growing communities in the nation.  The area, formerly an industrial hub, is home to some of the most forward thinking developments in the state combining groundbreaking architecture and next-generation sustainability.  AMLI River North, a 388 unit property located on the eastern bank of the Platte River, partnered with Ad Light to develop a multifamily signage package that drew inspiration from the area’s character and molded for a modern luxury multifamily design.

The main entry monument incorporated the community’s logo of an abstract rhino and embellished the dimensionality with a 2 layer design, standing the first layer off by an inch to allow for golden illuminated on an outlined backer.  For the graphics package, Ad Light embraced the existing graffiti and integrated it into the design by scanning the walls with a high definition camera and replicating the artwork on the new prints.  ADA signage employed raw materials such as steel and bolts to convey the industrial theme throughout while maintaining ADA standard for tactile lettering and visibility.

Projects like these are a great example of how architectural signage can carry the history of the locality while catering to the next generation of the community.

Wayfinding kiosk along the High Line Canal in Aurora

High Line Canal

The High Line Canal Trail is a 71 mile long continuous trail which spans across 11 governmental jurisdictions in Colorado. The pedestrian trail alongside the High Line Canal allows residents to enjoy nature in an otherwise urban environment. The recreational trail is also used by more than 500,000 people annually! ArtHouse Design strategically developed and designed the wayfinding program. Ad Light Group was contracted directly by the City of Aurora to build and install signage for the trail section running through Aurora, Colorado. The scope included fabricating and installing trail signs, street signs, and a wayfinding kiosk. The posts supporting the trail signage appear as wooden beams, but are actually powder coated square aluminum tubes. By using aluminum in place of wood, the signs are more durable, weather resistant, and will be able to be used and enjoyed for all future visitors and trail users.

Wood and stone monument sign at Alliance Residential Montane

Alliance Residential | Montane

Broadstone Montane is a luxury residential community in Parker featuring breathtaking views of Colorado’s mountains and valleys. Ad Light Group partnered with Alliance Residential to build and install all interior and exterior signage which was designed by Worboys Design. The project featured a custom fabricated curved monument sign, directionals, ADA signs, unit IDs, and parking signs. Using wood, aluminum, and steel for materials, we were able to incorporate the brand’s alpine style throughout the property’s signage.

Exterior address sign at Denver Water

Denver Water

Ad Light Group partnered with Mortenson Construction, Stantec (formally RNL), and Iron Horse Architects to fabricate and install signage at Denver Water’s updated headquarters. The campus was under renovation between 2016 and 2020. The overall scope included large custom wall graphics, ADA signs, wayfinding signage, and exterior identification monuments for the updated facilities. A notable part of the project was Ad Light Group’s in-house design and fabrication of a custom Denver Water history timeline. The timeline features informational panels attached to vintage water pipes and is displayed in the Three Stones building.
